Mindfulness and Yoga for Children Ages 4-19

Not only does The Mindfulness and Yoga classes improve members' physical fitness, but I have witnessed the most active members learn to focus, get present, and be quiet with their minds. They learned ways to cope with stress through breathing and meditation. In the Summer Mindfulness and Yoga Program at the Boys and Girls Clubs, 200 children participated. 100% of the children surveyed indicated the Mindfulness and Yoga Program helped them feel better. 100% of the children surveyed indicated the Mindfulness and Yoga Program helped them learn to take slow deep breaths. 100% of the children surveyed indicated the Mindfulness and Yoga Program helped them relax.
